Monthly Meeting Agenda

• Welcome

• Update about spending priorities conversation with Mr. Elmasri (3 min)

• Giving Tree update - Lower conversion rate than expected. All FOGS members should reach out to 10 contacts and confirm they have donated to FOGS this year.

  • Final pushes? Mr Distal to do a push at the Winter Concert + FOGS to make a poster board with QR code to donate. Joanna and Mari will make the poster.

• Holiday Fair - December 9th (5 min)

  • Sell old cookbooks $10 each - Yes

  • Merch? - Yes

  • Stickers and Magnets $1 or give away? - Give away WITH a donation to FOGS

• Latin Beats updates- Mari

  • Live and silent auction - several items received. Request for all FOGS members to come up with 2 items for the auction.

  • Tickets will open in new year, along with sending out information with the kids

  • Request for FOGS to cover cost of speaker

• Flexible seating purchases $1384.25 (2min)

  • Vahle- 2 active learning stools bought *Wants 8-10 but I want to test them first* - $327.10

  • Sherifi- 5 wiggle stools - $275.60

  • O’Neil- 2 balance balls & 2 stadium seats $132.28

  • Duarte- 5 Steel stools & 2 balance balls $413.63

• President's Choice of Funding: Wilkin- 3 Gaming chairs & copy paper, laminating sheets, card stock $235.64

• Entrance Signage Proposal- Josette and Amanda (as much time as we need)

  • Accepted at estimated cost of 6-7K (capital improvements budget)

• Folkorico funding for second semester (5-10 min)

  • All invited to show December 14th @ 4:30

  • They want to expand the program and add one more day due to students advancing and popular demand

  • Currently they have four levels and 60 students participating

  • 10 weeks - 3 days a week, $70 each session = $2100 ask from FOGS (fall semester we funded $1400 and they raised $1800)
