OUR PURPOSE

Friends of Goethe School (FOGS) is a group of parents, teachers, and neighbors working together to make Goethe Elementary a better school for everyone in the community. We best support Goethe with a strong team of board members and volunteers. All parents, teachers, and community members are welcome and encouraged to support and participate FOGS activities.

Board members are elected annually during the summer, but anyone can participate in our monthly meetings or volunteerThere is no financial requirement for participation.

"I had a great experience at Open House. Lively but orderly students moving from class to class, a clean and well-lit older building brimming with colorful student projects, lots of teachers/administrators interacting with kids in a very warm way – as if they clearly knew each other."

~Tamra T.

WHAT DOES FOGS DO?

Our focus changes from year to year, based on the needs of the school community. Over the years, FOGS has provided fundraising for classroom support, won major grants and state support for a playground and garden overhaul, for example.

IS FOGS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION?
