While it may seem that students will be encouraged to do their work because they can do it on their own time, it’s quite the opposite. Students feel as though because there is no one to watch them and there is no classroom setting that they want to do their work even less! Many students have reported out to us about how they are falling further and further behind everyday.
“ I feel like because there is no one to hold me accountable for my work and I can’t see a difference in my grade when I do the work or don’t. It’s causing me to forget about my school work and put it on the back burner,” quoted from a Goethe seventh grader.
I think we can all agree that we cannot wait until school is back in session and to revert back to our original schedules.
