Discussion
Fun Run Financial Updates
Middle school feedback that the "big" kids liked escorting the littles but wished they could run as well
Total raised almost $47,000!
Shirts were more expensive than expected, maybe look at a different vendor next year
Ms Vahle request
Legacy was that 8th grade needs to complete 20 hrs of service to graduate; but this is no longer a requirement. Ms Vahle is hoping to keep the service going even without a graduation requirement
Week of graduation, there's a Haas Field celebration and food truck
Any kid with 20 hrs gets a little extra time at the celebration as an incentive to complete their hours; most kids are expected to complete these hours
Request for funding for knockerball ($1250) + tacos ($735) + drinks ($150) = approximately $2000
8th grade has $500 in their funding account, so asking FOGS for the additional $1500
YAY - 9; NAY - 0
Issue: Teachers are unclear about how to request FOGS funding but also what is appropriate
Ashlee will review the form and possibly revise
